Kotak Mahindra Bank — Lies Kotak Bank Staff Tell To Get You To Open An Account | |||
I was lied to about charges and account plans while opening an account. Mr Chandraprakash Rai and Mr Manish Chantba of Kotak Mahindra Bank, Naranpura Branch, Ahmedabad told me that if I opened a current account and a savings account together, the bank would "Group" them and I would need to maintain a minimum balance of Rs 10, 000/- only in the current account and Not the savings account. After the accounts were opened, they started charging my savings account for non maintenance of minimum balance. Their help center said that there was no such plan. But on phoning Mr Rai, he confirmed that they do have such a plan and that not to worry. This was also confirmed by Ms Jankana of the bank after once again complaining to the help center. I have put the recordings of audio conversations on youtube. Search under Kotak Bank/Lies This bank tells. I have since applied for closing of the accounts. Beware Of this bank.
