Lakme Salon — Poor service and inconsiderate response from the complaints team | |||
I did hair smoothening from Lakme Salon Chembur on 1st February 2016. After the 3rd wash, I realized that the treatment was not done properly so I went to the parlour on 7th February and the hairdresser assured me that because of moisture in the hair, I got the curls back. He washed my hair and at that time it didn’t strike me that he used a hot air dyer to dry my hair and my hair became straight again. I also informed the hairdresser that I will be going on a vacation and if there are any issues again will get back to him. He agreed and when I went on vacation, I got my curls back and the hair texture turned bad, so after coming back, I called up the Lakme Salon at chembur on 18th Feb and told the manager about this, the manager named Smitha was very rude and back answered stating that why did I not inform her that I am going on a vacation and instead spoke to the hairdresser. I obviously found no reason to inform her when the hair dresser assured me that I can meet him once I come back from vacation. So I called up the Lakme customer complaint’s team instantly and the area manager spoke to me and got a trainer to check my hair condition. The trainer did agree that the job was not done properly but suggested me to go for the chemical treatment or Cystane treatment again which I was not happy about because I dint want to take risk again and damage my hair. So I asked for my amount to be reimbursed as I was not interested in taking any services just for the sake of it. I spent Rupees 6000 on the treatment and the service was extremely poor so I am not willing to take any further services. The area manager did not agree to this stating this is against their policy and fraudulently closed my complaint and there has not been response since then. I never expected that a reputed brand like Lakme can be so inconsiderate towards their customers. Please look into this as soon as possible and help me get justice. The Lakme salon located at Bellandur, Bangalore is the most unethical of all, below are their recent google ratings, please read the responses from the manager threatening to file a cyber crime complaint for telling them how cheap their services are, there is this lady by name Anita who is the worst among all the beauticians from this Lakme Bellandur Salon, she fooled me with the billing and charged me extravagantly, in addition she burn my skin with wax and was least bothered to apologize, even last time I had a very bad experience here, after complaining to the manager about Anita I started getting harassing calls to take the complaint back.

I request the Lakme team to look into this issue and cancel the franchise of this salon for not keeping up the brand expectations with their cheap behaviour.
