International Health Club - No facilities as promised

Recently we got membership in "International Health Club" in Chennai. At the time of joining, we were promised that the following facilities are available for the club members to use. 1. Well Equipped Gym 2. Restaurant with Good ambience 3. Badminton Court - indoor 4. Tennis court 5. Spa & Massage Parlour 6. Kids Zone 7. Conference Hall etc. etc. Even their web site - http://www.theinternationalhealthclub.com had lot of flashy images about the facilities. We were also promised that if the facilities are not to our expectations, then we can get refund of the fee paid and cancel the membership. After gaining membership, we went to see the facility in Kanathur, Chennai. The resort there was pathetic without maintenance. The attendants were not amicable. There was no proper Gym (only a cycling equipment was available), Badminton court, tennis court, Restaurant to name a few. To be frank, it was a drunkards' den. Even as individuals we won't dare to go and stay there. It was really scary. Our intention at the time of joining was to have quality time with our family in the club resorts. It was a totally disappointing experience. After the visit, we asked for refund and were informed by their staff that we need to send mail and wait for their response (email id - [protected]@theinternationalhealthclub.com). We were not even given a contact no. to check the status. We sent the mail on September 2013, the same month in which we got membership. Till date, nothing has happened. Same experience happened for me.So people's please read the review or check with others before joined in the club.

Hi, I too was cheated by Internation health club, They formed some big teams to cheat peoples. I was offered with lifetime member ship for 10000 Rs during Jun2013 with many offers like free dress coupens, free stay coupens, Hair saloon cards etc etc... But after 2 months i visited the club @ kanathur along with friends and i was shocked to see the club with no amenities mentioned while giving mebership card.

One more important thing who ever contacted me for membership card, like some sales guy, some lady who guided for payment, some guy from ashok pillar office, some person from Kanathur resort no one MOBILE nos were not in use after 2months. all the team were vanished & no contact no is available & even customer support no which they provided is also in active.

Very brilliant way they handle to cheat people & make money by forming such a big teams. Its my mistake to become member even after so much fraudants like Internationsl health club are in the market & many cases filled over them.

My money is gone & no contact details available to claim for refund. If any one has any contact details please share...

I was also cheated in the same manner. They told that the offer of Rs.9500 instead of Rs.15, 000 would end in a couple of days and sent their executives with a swipe card machine. They also told that if i used my credit card, it would be converted to monthly emi (3 years) where i would be paying around Rs.300 per month.

I was lured into it and visited the club in Kanathur, ECR, opp: AMET College only to have a shock of my life. They was no restaurant, no bar, no massage parlour, no indoor badminton court, nothing. There was an open lawn and a swimming pool.

When asked about the lack of facilities, they told i can sit anywhere and they would serve alcohol and food. They argued this is what they meant by saying availability of restaurant and bar. Nothing more needs to be said, i guess.

Hence i requested for refund and they are telling to meet the zonal manage Mr.Vikram who is untraceable. Any other victims please call me at[protected] so that we can collectively do something about this.

hai i am ezhil from chennai, i am a member in international health club for the past one year, same fake promises given to me at the time of joining, after that no response from the club side. i went to kanathur club with my kids, there i have seen only a rental bungalow with nam-sake items,
we only used the swiming pool, then there is no restaurant, gym, indoor games, no permit room. only they r holding five rooms. i don't want any refund, i want them to give the services which they promised. that's all.

Hi friends,

A good way to market and cheat the public whit out any facility, I had paid Rs 10, 000/- and not yet availed any complimentary as the club itself was missing once when we went along with family, later I found a number in the gate and some one replied saying that the club is shifted near mukkukad and they will inform us. To my surprise till date there is no call from the club and I assume the people running the club have made good money and absconding. My member ship number is [protected]. We all frnds planned for a resort night out on 13th of June 21015. It called as The International Health Club Resort. This is not an Resort, plz dont call it resort its a Devils place. Bloddy Hell that place reallly sucks No Welcome Drink, No Proper Maintenance. Room draws is full o[censored]sed condoms covers. When they on the AC they kept a vessel below tat coz water flows on to the Floor, In the Bath Tub Lizards are swimming also inside the bathroom Frogs are resting also with a Stinky Smell. Really Very BAD exprience. Plz Guys NEVER OR EVER VISIT THIS PLACE, . TRUST ME IF YOU LIKE TO DO NIGHT OUT FOR BOOZING BETTER GO FOR TASMAC. ITS BETTER THAN THIS Booth Bungalow.
