[Resolved] LG Electronics — Customer service issue in LG India | |||||
Hi, There are several instances (approx 4-5 times) in a gap of few months when the service person confirmed that its an issue with the magnetron and hence magnetron has been replaced due to non-heating. Last time when it was replaced i.e. the 4th time, the service person said there won't be any issue. It was working for 1 week after which I was outstation for a couple of months. Now when am back to Bangalore and started using the microwave oven, after 15 days, the same issue has occurred i.e. non-heating. In 1 year magnetron has been replaced 5 times which highlights that either defective products are been installed or the service person is highly inefficient. They are only interested in charging for the product & service tax. As discussed with the LG service person, the issue is once again with the magnetron. Instead of replacing the magnetron free of cost without any further service charges, and apologizing for the mistake from the LG Customer service person, the issue was closed. Am not going to pay for the negligence of the service person who has replaced the magnetron 4-5 times. In fact, I would demand a return of the service tax paid so far. Feb 26, 2016 Complaint marked as Resolved LG team has conveyed that that it's an issue from their end & hence fixed the magnetron & changed the diode without any service charges or cost of the items, LG Electronics customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |||||

The issue has been raised for so long, but there is no update from LG support team yet. Its really frustrating to see such a negligence & irresponsibility from one of the trusted brands in India.
