Really disappointed from this biggest brand name LG, , , I bought a LED TV 22inch on 2nd Feb in 2014 along with 1 year warranty which was useless for me. Yesterday I was watching TV and suddenly the display became black, only sound was coming. I restarted it and after 5 mins same thing happened. I called up LG customer care department and told them about the problem. He said that, Sir your product is out of warranty, so now you will have to pay our service charges Rs 400 & Tax + damage charges (if found) and if you do not repair your product then you’ll have to pay 250 + tax, After this CC Executive registered a complaint and gave me the complaint number…I agreed to pay the same Next day their technical team visited at my residence and after inspection of product they said, Sir! There is fault in your product’s panel, so if you really want to get it repaired then you will be changed for Rs 7000 with our service charges 400 + tax ( Aprx – 8000k ). I refused and only paid 250 + tax them (Total – Rs 285 and received nothing). Here my concern is, in only 1 & half years product got damaged on which I spent Rs 12500 and got nothing from it and wasted my money. Seriously, I am continuously thinking that what should I do now? I lost my money and belief in LG. You gave me 1 year warranty and that’s exactly the period in which your product was live and after expiring the validity product got tired…hehe.. So according to the equation, if I go with the procedure, I’ll have to pay 8000k (repairing charges) and I have already spent Rs 12500 on it. It becomes total around 20, 000…Should I really pay this repairing amount? LG – Life’s Good…………..Good For Nothing… Last mistake I did and will never ever recommend this brand for any product to any person…. Thank You Danish Saifi [protected]
