LG Electronics — LG 42LE5500 unavailability of Parts

Hi, Last week my TV which was working fine stopped displaying anything. On inspecting, the service person said that it was mother board issue (Note its just 4 years from date of purchase). He said it may cost[protected] INR and I was fine. After a week I get a call stating that the part is no more manufactured by the company. A TV that I purchased for 75000 4 years back was now offered a throw away value of 11500 for exchange. I would like to know how could a manufacturer stop producing parts when the product is still in its lifetime !!! I am never buying any LG product ever, I have faced this earlier with washing machine and now with the TV again. Its the manufactures responsibility to have the parts available, else stop manufacturing TV's which you cant support. Why ruin people life by making us invest 75000 K for 4 years. I really would like LG to consider this situation and revert back with a positive response. To put it simply, you are doing a day light robbery and ensuring you push your latest product replacing the old ones. LG is manufacturing products that fuse off within few years. Wonderful strategy.
