LG India Ltd — Unavailability of LCD TV 32LG80UR-ATR parts and unsatisfactory service

Dear Sir/ Mam, LG Electronics, I Arvind Kumar Tripathi had purchased one LCD TV 32 inches [Model No. 32LG80UR-ATR; SET Serial No. 812LPFJ0006003] from kara bazaar motijheel which was organized in Kanpur there my tv was booked with your dealer Mahlotra Agencies in front of Mariumpur Girls Inter College, Kanpur in the month of March-2008. Since then it was performing well enough till dt-03/06/2014 afterwards there were some serious electronic problems occurred like LOSS of DISPLAY and SOUND VOLUME every after 15 minutes or HALF an HOUR of its running. Then I contacted several times on LG Customer Care Helpline [protected] [request id RNA[protected]] to send technician, then a technician (Devendra Kr. Sharma, Mob: [protected]) came to attend the TV and he suggested to change the POWER SUPPLY part after inspection. On dated 12/06/2014 he changed the POWER SUPPLY and charged INR: 2330/= [rupees two thousand and three hundred thirty] TCR No. 00834. After changing the part, TV performed only one day. Again I contacted the technician but he told that he is out of station and will come after few days then he came after around 20 days, this time he told us that POWER SUPPLY IS OK and there is some electronic problem in DISPLAY PANNEL and suggested to send it to service center. Then again I contacted to LG Customer Care Helpline on 09/07/2014 [request id RNA[protected]]. This time also the technician (Mr. Sachan, Mob: [protected]) suggested me to send it to service center, Then I took my television to the Service Center, Aakarsh Electronics located at Barra Kanpur on dated: 11/08/2014. After some day they informed me that the faulty electronic part (EBR[protected] is DISCONTINUED by the company as the tv set is OUTDATED now. In between I have also contacted Mr. Shahiba Nasreen Mob: [protected] LG COO as told by LG Customer Care Helpline Executive but Mr. Shahiba Nasreen didn’t responed in a positive way to resolve the issue. So I took back my television without any repairing and refund of amount INR 2330 in the waiting of some exchange program offered by LG as suggested to me by service center. I personally think that service and availability of any part is sole responsibility of manufacturer after sale of the product. This type of response and unavailability just after few years of purchase definitely affecting our believe in your Brand. I hope a quick and right response from your side.
