[Resolved]  LIC Housing Finance — Not Giving Disbursement

My File no. [protected], loan sanctioned but not giving disbursement. They have deducted processing charges also and now no response from executive of branch manager. I tried to call Regional manager and corporate office Mumbai but no body is helping. I want disbursement or refund of my money already they have taken even BBA, Builder payment receipts etc. Not even getting e-mail replies, online complaint system is not working.

I have taken home loan from LIC HFL, Dwarka, New Delhi Branch and want to apprise you of hardships that clients face with LIC and am not at all happy with the services. Customer care whether e-mail, phone or grievance link given on LIC website, nothing works. Even if you succeed in sending an e-mail or making a phone call, you never get a reply or resolution. Website always give message of error. (See attachment). You are just left on the mercy of Branch Manager or his Executive. There is no customer respect, no care for commitment, time lines, no transparency. For every single information you have to work hard and keep calling Branch Manager. Executive are interested only till they get there commission or customer keep them happy by paying money in one form or the other. Direct bribery is not asked but you are harassed in such a way that you will start thinking on that term. I was told that project is approved and I submitted all documents on 25/6/2015, loan was sanctioned but as soon as LIC got processing charges, drama begin that Builder has not provided complete documents, NOC etc. one pretext or the other. And when after lot of efforts I managed to prove that Builder documentation is ok, they made a disbursement cheque on 23/7/2015 but still it was not given siting new reasons that fire NOC is not there, client has to sign indemnity etc. Finally I got the cheque on 29/7/2015 after lot of efforts, waiting. In all I got mentally tortured and feel like quitting. I am wondering that Home loan is 20 year long term relationship, when in starting I am so much harassed and I have no channel to get help from LIC, how will I deal with them in long run. It seems I have done my life's biggest blunder by taking loan from LIC HFL. Now, even after getting disbursement after more than 30 days, I don't know what is my loan account number, I have not been given loan sanction letter, no proof/ acknowledgement that I have submitted original BBA, Allotment letter, builder payment receipts. What I feel here is that in my case only Branch Manager was little cooperative but overall process & procedure of LIC is not friendly nor cooperative. You need to make customer care operative and practical. It should resolve issues. I even called cooperative office in Mumbai & RO office in New Delhi at landline numbers but in Mumbai office I was told that they can not help call your Branch and in RO office Delhi they told loan issues are not resolved here. Therefore I request you to help in getting me basic information related to my file no. 3124000007 1) My loan account no 2) Loan Scheduler 3) Loan Approval Letter 4) Disbursement Letter / detail 5) Acknowledgement of original documents received by you (BBA, Allotment Letter, Payment Receipts) 6) For any issues, I need escalation matrix. 7) Any other document, you may deemed fit for my record. Other than this make your Executive sensitive towards clients so that other people do not face hardships that I was made to face. Example: Executive called me and fixed 7 am time to collect document but he reached the spot at 7.40 am, I kept waiting for him for 40 minutes. Later when we planned to visit builder for signing tripartite agreement etc he fixed the date and accordingly I took a leave from office but he never turned up and later made some excuses. Then again he fixed a date & time of 10 am but Executive turned only at 2 pm. The wait was very frustrating and again I was forced for full day leave. And finally when I was told told that cheque is ready, Executive will hand it over to you. But he never made any efforts to handover it to me even after 3 days of repeated requests. Reason I just refused to further pay absurd cash payments on pretext of making indemnity bonds, this & that. Naturally he lost interest. Only when I threaten Branch Manager that I need to speak to your Boss over the issue, he appointed some other person and I finally got the cheque. Pls. try to change your system and take feedback from customers and take necessary action where needed so that staff doesn't think they are above the organization, After all such employees can never create a goodwill for you in the market. And request you to help me in getting above requested information..

Overall I will never recomend LIC Housing Finance for your home loan requirement. Very very poor service. My disbursement is again on hold at last moment. I do not understand when project has been approved then why so much issues. LIC should have not sanctioned my loan in first instance if there were so many issues.
