Lichfl — Not responding towards application for list of document & outstanding balance certificate
A home loan of Rs. 34.40 Lakh was sanctioned by LICHFL for me in January, 2013 at an interest rate of 10.50% with an EMI of Rs. 35007/-. After two years of fixed rate of interest, they suddenly increased the interest rate (as floating) to 11.75% with an EMI of Rs. 37887/- 9 an increase of Rs. 2880/-). I am not in a position to afford such a high EMI and want to transfer my loan to other financial institutions/banks. For the purpose an application with a service charge was submitted by me to LICHFL on 09.06.15 for want of a list of document under their possession and a certificate of balance outstanding amount to be paid to LICHFL during pre-payment. But after repeated pursuation and requests, I am yet to receive any ducument from LICHFL even after one month of submission of my application. In the mean time they have received one more EMI from me on 07.07.15. It is a tremendous harassment and not at all desirable from a govt. body like LICHFL. I request to please look into the matter at the earliest. Was this information helpful?

Its no longer a Govt run org. Remember LICHFL has posted more than 700 Cr this quarter from the profits.
