Its been almost 2 years when I come to know that MSEB has installed faulty meter for my new flat. As soon as I come to know about it, I started filing online complaints of "Faulty Meter" for replacement. Every time the status of my complain changed from "Assigned" to 'Resolved" and then "Closed" within 1 or 2 months. But when I check my meter by physically going to meter-room, I could realize that it is still the same faulty one. I did this online complaints filing procedure for almost 7-8 times in last 2 years. Now, 2 months back I physically went to MSEB office in Dhanori and file complaint in personally. They have taken it and said meter will be replaced soon and till then I will get average bills. Its been 2 months but no meter replacement yet and they are charging me very high average bill of Rs. 1500 though the moderate use. I am staying with my wife and 2 years daughter, so our average use of electricity should never go beyond some 500 or 600 rupees. So, I went to Dhanori MSEB office for status of meter replacement, but they said there is no meter available. So, I asked them to reduce average bill, but denied and abused me for not coming early to file complaint of faulty meter. Kindly, help me to replace my faulty meter as early as possible or help me to reduce the average bill.
