I have to lodge a complaint against MSEB. I had called on its toll free no. [protected] to lodge a complaint of power cut in a phase of our apartment, since 3 hours. But when I called on the no. and entered my 12 digit Consumer no., the recorded answer I received was "it is an incorrect no., and your call is being transferred to our customer care executive" but I kept waiting on hold for around 10 minutes and still there was no answer. I repeated the same waste of time process thrice, yet no result.
Then i visited the nearest MSEB office at Ajni square, Nagpur. There nobody was ready to co-operate. They kept on saying that we cannot take any complaint here you will have to lodge the complaint only on the Toll free no. I told them that your Toll free service is not working properly so you just accept my complaint and do the needful for the power cut at my place. Still those people were not ready to do anything. Their boss Baburao Bhatkar (Jr. Engineer) who was the head of that branch office was not present their. When asked the other staff told me that Saheb round var gele ahe. Then i took his cell no. & called him to talk to him regarding my problem, so I could here the Television sound from the background which means he was probably at his residence and not on any official duty, leaving his Office premises during working hours. But this man spoke to me arrogantly saying that you have to lodge the complaint through the Toll free no. only then will I do anything otherwise not.
When I said that now I will have to make a complaint against you because you are not co-operating in my power cut problem, so he raised his voice and said you want to complaint against me, go ahead give the complaint.
