I have planned to travel Mumbai to Chennai on 20-December and return on 29-December and booked my tickets through 'Makemytrip.com'.
Make my trip goofed up my booking and booked my flight in SG 613 leaving Mumbai on 20 December at 22.15 hrs which I have never asked for. I've asked for booking in AI-569 leaving Mumbai on 20-December at 06-20.
I immediately wrote to MMT about it . There was no response and I sent a second one. They replied to say that they will resolve the matter in 72 hours. Till now, they have not done anything. I recd a text message in my phone asking me to call for urgent assistance at [protected]. I called this number several times and a taped message says that such a service no more exists and I should go online and resolve the problem.
I checked about cancelling the onward journey. I've to lose Rs 2, 500/- if I cancel my ticket.
Friends, MMT does many such mistakes in booking and this is my second experience.
You can't do anything about it and you'll only pay for their mistakes.
You can not contact MMT either by mail or by phone for their assistance.
You will not get back the money if you cancel your tickets.
They have a help line which is defunct for a long time. (That means they are least bothered about solving the issues).
Now, I have decided to go to the social media and expose them and also to the consumer redressal forum to fight for justice.
