I had booked two rooms under this booking and had received the confirmation voucher from MMT for the same.
When I landed at the hotel, I was informed that ONLY one room was booked. I had a senior citizen travelling with me and we were greatly inconvenienced. I even have an email from the hotel confirming that they only received confirmation from MMT for one room so it was clearly a slip on MMT's end. The second room was only allotted at 10 PM on the same day.
When i returned back, i wrote to MMT requesting for a refund for one room for one night. The daily charges for the room was 2499 which is also listed on the hotel voucher. I was informed that only 823 rupees will be refunded since they have deducted the initial discount charges that I had received while booking. I am really unhappy with this response as MMT slipped on their promise of not booking the rooms. Why should the customer pay for this and also even if the discount has to be deducted it has to be prorated as the discount was for the entire booking.
Post that, when i received the refund, i ONLY got Rs763 as against Rs 823 promised to me. There is no justification provided to me on why a less amount was deducted. I feel MMT is charging me for every mistake they did in booking. This is not at all accepted from a reputed firm.
I would request for a complete refund of my money for one room for one night. Was this information helpful? |
