Maruti Insurance — Unethical practice in Insurance policy sold to ne | |||
I have purchased a new Baleno from Nexa, Agra and old policy 50% NCB has been availed on the insurance of the car. This policy was in relation to National Insurance Co. Ltd. I received a call in the evening of 3rd Dec for the confirmation regarding the insurance. The person who called did not inform me that the new insurance is being changed into Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance Co Ltd. Had he informed me I would have never changed but stayed on with National Insurance Co. Ltd. I only came to know about this change at the time of delivery of this vehicle to me on 4th Dec, 2015. Secondly no benefit of NCB protect or engine protect has been provided in the new Insurance. Thirdly the premium charged in exorbitant in comparison to what National would have charged.
