[Resolved]  Maruti Suzuki — Complaint against manufacturing defect

Dear, In November, 2012 I bought Maruti Swift vdi car from Rohan Motars, Mohan cooperative, Delhi. Car Details: DL 3C BU 4875 Chassis No.: 342844 Engine No.: 326749 Current Mileage: 60560 I am taking good care of my car and is taken for service/maintenance regularly at C-119, Naraina Industrial Area, Phase:1, New Delhi 110028. I began to experience the following problems related to the vehicle: - In first 20k kms i faced the problem with the clutch. It stopped working and when taken to the service centre was noticed that the clutch plate was broken. It was replaced within warranty. - Within next 20k kms the second gear stopped working. Again the car was taken for service. They repaired the same and ensured it will not repeat again. - Now the car has crossed 60k kms and I am tackling with the same problem again. When contacted the service station, the are denying to repair within warranty. I have obtained an independent report in support of my claim that the car has a serious fault, which might was a manufacturing defect, and a copy is enclosed for your attention. I am not able to use the car because of which I have to opt for cab and it is increasing my daily expenses. I look forward for your response to the earliest and would appreciate immediate action on the issues highlighted. Thanking you. Dear Sir,

I had purchased a Maruti Alto K10 (VXI) bearing Chassis No –
MA3EADE1S00490367 on[protected] from Mohon Motor Udyog Pvt Ltd.

After 2-3 months I found that there were 2-3 dents on the
roof of the car. After that I called to the customer care and they guided me to
contact the workshop as soon as possible, so that they can look after the
matter. Then I contacted with One Auto Dealer workshop at Kalikapur Branch,
Kolkata. I had a talk with customer care Manager and she told me to go to the
Science City Branch, Kolkata for a checkup.

After 2-3 months later One Auto Service (Body shop) Engineer
contacted me and took my car to the Maruti Regional Branch, Kolkata (L&T
House). They replied me 2-3 weeks later about the matter .They told that there
was some hopping on the roof of the car. For that reason the roof was dent
which was told by Mr.A.K.Ghosh. He also told that Maruti is not liable to take
any action about this problem.


From here on my question arises:

A)
Will Maruti not take any action to this kind of
problem?

B)
Do Maruti have no belief about the customer feed
back?

C)
Do Maruti
have the worst service among all the car companies in India?

D)
Mr.A.K.Ghosh also told me that as my car
travelled less kilometers & for Maruti good will they will take action to recover
the dent and will not take any responsibility further. That means he did not
believe that it was a manufacturing defect and repeatedly told me that the dent
was due to hopping. Most of the time my car stays in garage which is fully
covered. Can you tell me how the hopping occurred?

Previously I had faith &
belief about Maruti company and their Services, for the reason why I purchased
a car of Maruti.

“From now onwards my conception & belief about Maruti its totally
wrong. ”

I think that I am able to describe the
total problem which I am facing in the recent days.

I hope that you will take a serious
action and do the needful immediately.
