Maruti Suzuki India — My Car Swift Dzire VDI gear clutch plate got damage after servicing from Rana Motors

I have given my vehicle for servicing in the morning on 15th July and till that time the gear was moving smoothly. I took back my Car on the same day at 6.30 pm in the evening after service .since I was in the hurry as it was already late I just asked Rana Motors supervisor(Neeraj) whether he have checked it thoroughly or not and he has replied that he had checked it completely and there will not be any issue however when I was driving my car towards my home from service center I observed that the gear was tightly moving but since I am not technical person I could not able to judge that this can be technical fault and I just thought that this can be due to servicing as normal customer thinker and very next day morning I take my car to nanital where after covering 100 km's with tight gears the car stops and the gears are not working at all.It was very dangerous situation since the car got stop at a very lonely place between bilaspur and rudrapur and no one was there to help. I was with my Family at that time. Any how I got one mechanic and he check and told that the gear clutch got damage and it needs to be changed. Next day morning I have given my car to mechanic and in evening i got it back. I have paid 5500 to mechanic for change clutch plate and 1200 to cab who drop me to a hotel on that night and 1200 to hotel for stay that place in the night and 9200 to Rana Motores for servicing my car. Even after all this payment I am not really satisfied with the remarks of Rana Motors executive when I wrote to them. You can see below the answer i got from Rana Motors executive when I wrote to the them about this incidence and ask for recovery of my money spent on such incidence because of Rana Motors servicing. Sir, since the Clutch is a normal wear & tear product so it gets worn out as per usage & age time frame of the vehicle. As per our discussion, now you are facing an average issue. Hence, it is been decided that you will be visiting our workshop in next week for an average check. Hence, you are most welcome as per your convenience. LTD Dealer Address 34/3, DINESH JAIN COMPLEX RAJIV CHOWK, GURGAON-122001 Date of Purchase of vehicle 28/May/2012 Total Kilometer Covered 34000 Your Feedback My car get service from Rana Motors on 15th July 2015 I have given my car to be service at 10 am in the morning and got it at 6 pm in the evening Next morning I went to nainital for tour with my family when I took my Car from Rana Motors I observed that the hand gear was too tight while using however i though it might due to the service and it was continue to be tight during my travel to nainital While I was going ahead to nainital in between after crossing bilaspur my car got stop and gears are not working It was 8pm in the evening and the place was quite dark and empty where my car got stop I tried to reach Rana motors executive Neeraj who supervise my car for servicing but he did not receive my call Then I wait there for two hours and requested few local guys for help thanksfully I got help and put my car over there and hire a taxi and went to rudrapur for stay in hotel Next day i went back again and hire a car who pulled my car to rudrapur for repairing and the mechanic has told that due to hard gear i was using the clutch plated got completely damaged and it needs to be changed and i paid Rs 6000 to car mechanic for changing clutch plate and got it back in the evening Trust this was the most pathetic experience i ever had from Rana Motors and i spend almost Rs 17800 includes servicing charges from rana motors changing of clutch plate hire hotel hire taxi etc and still my car is not running good its mileage got reduced to 17 km per ltr on highway Trust I am really upset by servicing of Rana Motors I was always liking Maruti Suzuki due to its reach and services but this was the first time I have such a pathetic experience I was actually plan to go to grahak sewa but i thought let me first approach Maruti Suzuki first to take necessary action and in case Maruti will not taking corrective action then I will defenetly move to grahak sewa kendra Looking for a positive response Send Feedback to* Head Office Thanks & Regards, sachin verma
