[Resolved]  Maruti Suzuki — Manufacturing Defect at time of Delivery (AC not functional)

Dear Sir/ Madam,

This is with reference to the Maruti Ertiga that I purchased on 7th May 2014.

On the day of the delivery there were issues with the AC
I immediately brought the same to the notice of the dealer authorities (Mohinder, Maggie, Akbar and Ram) and asked for the rectification before I sign the delivery note.
The car was sent to the service station and after 5 hrs the car was delivered to me.
Since i am still awaiting the car registration number I parked the car in my garage
Today when I started the car, the AC was not functional (no cooling)
I took the same to the dealer...they sent the same to service station, this time I ensured I also went along with the dealer guy (Nishant Giakwad) to the service station so that I personally see as to what the problem is.
The service station head (Majid) got the car inspected...infact they have kept the car at their service station today since the exact problem is still not rectified
They are speculating that there might be some leakage or fault in AC coil and might have to open the dashboard for further rectification

I have serious issues with the way this is case is treated.
There has been no assistance from the dealer or the service station...infact i called the dealer and the service station multiple times to get the update.
When I was taking the delivery I had asked the authorities from the dealership that they give me in writing that there was a fault in AC at the time of delivery.
They had assured me that the problem is rectified and there shall be no problem in future.

I would request you sort this at the earliest and replace the car since this was delivered to me with manufacturing defect.

Look forward to hear from you asap or else I would have to other option but to take this to consumer court.
