[Resolved]  Maruti Suzuki — warranty rejection letter from your service centre

Address:Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh

To, The customer service Manager Maruty Udhyog Dear Sir, I am writing this letter to you just out of sheer negligence and pathetic attitude of your authorized dealers and Workshops. Just duping the customers. I had purchased a Ertiga VDIR3RDCd100 on the 23/3/13. The Chassis No. 167474 Engine No 2077974 on the 23/3/13. And the same was serviced by your authorized workshops. The vehicle is under warranty period. I had given my car to M/s My car for servicing and to solve the problem being faced by me. The car was given on the 18/10/14 and they kept the same with them for a fornight and later on on 3/11/14 they returned the car without repairing and gave a rejection letter also saying that it cannot be covered under warranty due to not circulation of oil because of you start the vehicle with the help of accelerator . The rejection letter is very clear and speaks volumes about the technical staff and their knowledge. It says that oil circulation was not proper hence the turbo charger fan shaft has gone bad ? (As I think/ understand what the technical expert wanted to say in the rejection letter). The reason given by the technical expert as explained in the rejection letter is vague. Now I have to say some thing 1. I am using cars since last several years including maruti 800 and Hundai Santro both mpfi and also availed NCBs in insurance policies. I am not a tyro and a matured responsible and a good user of cars. 2. I am very well versed with cars and I know that accelerator is not used at the time of starting the engine. 3. I was getting the car serviced at proper intervals at your service stations. Didn’t they observe such a problem during service and test drives? Why they haven’t pointed out such shortcoming earlier ? Or it was serviced by inefficient and untrained staff ? Who never knew anything ? Or during the free services just they washed the car and was delivered to me? 4. Why such a problem has cropped up now after 1 ½ years ? Not at the early stages? 5. Why the service station took so many days to detect the problem? 6. Why the service station authorities could not inform me about the same immediately? If it was taking more than a day they should have provided another car for my routine work. 7. As per qualified engineers the problem is not at all concerned with using accelerator at the time of starting. And accelerator is not connected to any lubrication system. Actually it’s a technical problem which persisted right from beginning. 8. Its actually a manufacturing defect. This problem happened due to poor QC at procurement level and poor workmanship at the time of assembly. Finally the QC test done before dispatch, at all levels the QC has not been done properly. 9. The allegation made by the technical experts of your workshop is, as if he is observing/ watching me whenever I start the car. 10. I am being harassed financially and mentally due to no fault of mine. It’s a punishment of buying/trusting a Maruti vehicle I request you to kindly get my car replaced free of cost and reimburse the cost of taxi used for 15 days for my routine work. Please do not force me to take up the matter in to consumer protection forum for which you will be responsible. I will be at liberty to publish the same in media also. Awaiting a quick anticipation. Yours Faithfully, Jiji Mathew
