[Resolved]  Matrix Cellular — Inflated Bill

Dear Sir/Ma'am, I would like to bring to your notice my utter dissatisfaction and harassment caused by one of your employees in Pune Mr Abhijeet Patra. I had taken a Sim Card for Europe in the month of May, my number being +44 [protected]. I am sure you are used to getting complaints about inflated bills and I dont know what your company ethics are or how you handle these complaints but I had reported this problem to Mr Abhijeet Patra who was our agent. I even sent a copy of the detailed bills with the call charges being doubled as per the minutes and the basic cost also being charged 6000 as compared to Rs 600 which was told to us at the time of selling the sim. But my complaint is also about the agent who has been promising us since the month of June that he will get the extra money back and it shall be returned to us. After 2 months of his false assurances, he has been telling me since 3 weeks that a cheque in our name has come to him but he has not yet delivered it to us. He refuses that I make the effort of going to the matrix office as he would personally come and deliver it. today I took leave from my work and was promised by Mr Abhijeet that he will come and deliver the cheque. the day is over now and all I did was get messages from him saying that he is driving, or that he is in a meeting or that he will be coming to my house in an hour's time. I am extremely disgusted with his service and with the service he is providing for matrix. Either he tells us that the case is not in his hands and he cannot do anything to help us or he should not keep us hanging and waiting all day, when we took leave from our own jobs to sort out the matter our whole day was wasted. What kind of service is this? Is something wrong with your agents or is this how you treat people? I am so disgusted by Matrix and the agents in Pune and the over charged bill that 5 of our family friends from Koregaon Park have been abroad and have not taken Matrix after my advise. The international roaming on their normal mobile service providers are atleast honest and have decent forums to handle such issues. I will be going to the manager in the office and also complaining about Mr Abhijeet Patra, this is highly disgusting how we have been assured that he is coming to deliver the cheque week after week and not shown up. Enough is enough with such unprofessional behaviour. Priyanka

I am another customer who is getting harassed by Matrix for exactly the same fraudulent bill. I have been slammed with a Rs. 98000 bill for data usage alone when I had specifically asked for only voice call facility. Matrix team is absolutely unapologetic for this and is asking me to make the payment. I too am going legal against this company. Moreover, there is plethora of such cases of cheating against this company and they are ruthlessly extorting money from ignorent customers. So, I believe we, all cheated customers, should join hands to drag these culprits to the court of law. I am trying to reach out to other such distressed customer and involving social as well as live media. I would appreciate if you reach out to me personally for further details.

I had gone to China for a week and took Matrix sim card. For 2 hours of calling and few messges they charged me Rs12000 and told me thats my unbilled amount. After a week when i got my final bill it was Rs24000. Since months i have been writing to them that how can an unbilled amount of Rs12000 be doubled up to Rs24000. They keep explaining me there are charges n service taxes. This company is full of fraud. They write in my bill that i made 25 messages to a number when i know i never made those message. I want to take legal action againstt them.
