My grandma had admitted to medica superspecialty hospital (Icu bed no 11 patient name mrs. Durga rani saha), which is at em bypass, on 15th nov 2015 in emergency. She was suffering from chest infection. We were not aware of the charges as we are belong to a middle class family, we could not afford much money. She was under treatment of dr. Nandini biswas, we already told dr. That as we are not in a state to pay much so we requested to dr. To do treatment, once she recover we would shift her to other hospital. Dr. Behaved like we are not human as we are not rich. When i asked dr. About the patients’ condition she shouted at me and said that"how many times i have to speak about this i am getting fed-up better you speak with other family member". & also told clearly "if you have money we will serve better if you not you can go to any other place so it would be better if you release our expensive bed, we are here for those people who have money, not for those who doesn't have that, we can’t commit how many day will take for her to recover, if anything happened we are not responsible". As the dr. Forcing us we needed to shift my grand ma to kpc on 20th nov. The bill generated for these 5 days rs 1 lac 27k approx. We have cleared the bill & shifted. And on 21st nov 2015 morning she died. Reports were saying she had jaundice and kidney damaged but dr. Nandini biswas did not inform us anything. My grand ma didnot take this journey and a severe attack took her life. Now my question is - the way of talking of a dr., the way she behaved with us however we paid all amount still my grand ma suffered after spending a hell lot of money. No treatment done there all reports were hidden from us. After her death we got to know the reality. Where is the humanity? Where is the hospitality? When dr. Came to know about our financial health instead of doing the diagnosis she became very much aggressive towards the patient and family members. If this is the condition of a hospital then there should be a banner stating like"please come if can spend min 2 lacs". The people who doesn't have much money can not get the service from there that is the thing what so ever if the patient is serious. I need justice for it. More over when i asked for the reports they declined to give and told that i would be getting at the time of discharge. Shameless people with shameless mentality. I know nothing is going to change because of my complaint. But still i can try once that's why i am writing this.
