On 3rd June 2014 I have booked a cab from Megacabs in Kolkata for pick up on 4th June 2014 at 9 am . I also received an SMS, "Your Megacab booking No. C25016 for 4 June 9.00 am is confirmed". But the car didnot reported. When I called their customer care, the executive told that their is no cab available and so the cab will not come in the reported time.They even said that receiving SMS confirmation is not valid till you call the call center and this is the rule. But this was not mentioned to me in the SMS nor I have seen it in the net. As a result I have to undergo a lot of harassment. It is ridiculous that pan India based company cannot value and respect the time and work of their customers rather mislead by sending wrong SMS confirmation.
Suggestion: A line must be stated in the SMS about calling customer care for cab availability and confirmation. Otherwise customers will be misleaded and unnecessarily harassed. Was this information helpful? |
