[Resolved] Micromax — deficiency in after sale service | |||
We have purchased one Micromax A116 Canvas HD black for Rs.11800/ on 21.12.2013 from Ms Hariom Custom collection, borivali East, Mumbai. But after just 4 months it developed serious problem of not charging the mobile. We have lodged a complaint with service centre at Borivali West, Mumbai and submitted the mobile in the month of May 2014 but the officilal informed that we have to pay Rs.6900/- to get it repaired as the mother board of the mobile is cracked. It is pertinent to note that the mobile is under warranty and should have been repaired irrespective of defect in any part as we have not been informed by the vendor that which part would be under warranty and which are not covered. It is not our fault if the company is producing defective pieces. Kindly not that it is the harassment of the customer if after sale service is not provided to the consumers. We have options to go to consumer court for our financial loss and mental harassment. We request you replace the mobile or refund the purchase price with interest and compensation for mental agony at the earliest.
