[Resolved]  Micromax Informatics — Unethical replacement policy

Actually the complain is pertaining to Vapi city but as there was no option of my city, i selected the nearest place. I had bought a micromax Yureka mobile handset 26.3.2015. after some time the handset received some system updates from the micromax company and the phone just went crazy. i mailed to micromax customer care and they advised me to approach their authorised customer service centre located in Vapi. The service persons checked and said that the handset needs to be replaced and its unrepairable by them too. they said its in warranty period ant the company will replace with a new handset within 15-20 days and the handset will be couriered directly by micromax to my billing address and the handset needs to be surrendered to them. On 04.01.2016 i surrendered my handset at the customer service centre (M/s. Shivam Enterprise shop no 3, Valedin Plaza, Imran Nagar- Vapi) vide job sheet no W[protected] since then I have been mailing o Micromax who have no reply aboout the status of the replacement and they lastly asked me to follow up with the service centre itself to know the actual status. In turn the rude and arrogant service centre people are saying that we could not do anything in this matter as its the company who replaces the defective pieces and it may take a month or even two months. there is nothing in the system to even check the status also. Now it has been over a month and there is no one answerable ..neither the company and nor the service centre people.I would like to lodge a complaint against the company and the service centre for this poor replacement policy. i fail to understand why a company of this repute takes so much time and held a customer as hostage for their lethargic policy or procedure.
