Micromax Tab Canvas P480 — Service centre not responding properly with customers

Sir, My name is Narayan, I am from Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Recently I have gone through very bad experience from Micromax service centre. Service centre behaves very badly with customers. Comparing to other mobile companies, Micromax not having any control on their service centres, in fact they don’t have any procedure for update the complaint status. People like me always prefer to buy Indian make brands but companies like micromax changing the peoples mind, due to their non-co-operative services. Anybody should take strong action on this. My detail experience is as below.
I have purchased Micromax Tab Canvas P480 from EBay in July 2015, After 1 month from purchasing it’s started to getting hanged. Every time I proceed to restart the device, but after one more month the device was automatically powered off and not gets started. I had call with customer care & he has provided 4-5 service centre addresses within my city. When I visited their out of 5 only one is working for micromax named M/s Shree Enterprises which is almost 25km far from my house. I have shown the concern; the representative told me that it is water damage and not in warranty claim, you need to repair it on charges of Rs. 1500/-, will get ready by 4-5 days. I tried to ask exactly what is water damage? but they are unable convince me. Since there is only one service centre in my city I have no choice and I have submitted the tab for repairing. Job card No. W[protected] dated 14/09/15.
After 5 days when I visited at service centre, they told me still problem is not resolved, damaged spare part is called from company and still not received. Same answer received next 6 to 7 times and this cycle continued up to next 20 days. Every time different persons talking with me and committing that will give tab after 2 days. They are also saying that they will call me after resolving the problem but never called, even when I trying to call no one can lift the. Since I am service man in private company, every time I am taking half day leave and traveling 25km to visit the service centre, I have spent almost Rs. 700/- in transportation. 2 times the service centre was closed in working day without any intimation and reason was non availability of Power. Due to this I was very irritated. One day on dated 07/10/15, I lose my patience and I was shouted on them, if you not resolved the problem then I will raise the police complaint. This time they taken seriously and repaired my tab within half hour.
I understood that there was very minor problem and they are unnecessary charging me Rs. 1500/- even it is in warranty period. I ask them to return me the damaged spare part because I am paying for replaced part then they told me that damaged part was return back to company for research. I don’t understand how micromax doing research by taking cost from end users pocket. This is very disgusting, service center behave very badly with customers, Micromax not having control on service centers, in fact no working procedure seen at service centers. People like me prefer to buy Indian make brands companies but companies like micromax changing the peoples mind on Indian brands. Anybody should take strong action on this.
