[Resolved]  Micromax — Waiting for Mobile to be repaired even after 2 months

I recently (Jul 2014)purchased a Micromax Canvas Elanza A121 in exchange of Micromax A90. The phone worked great however till recently when I had an issue with it. Upon encrypting the phone to setup the corporate email, the SIM goes undetected - none of the two SIMs are detected. I took the phone with this problem to three of the service centers in Bangalore - Malleshwaram, Rajajinagar and Richmond town service centers. In M'waram center, they informed me that the SIM IMEI number is corrupted and it has to be updated. After waiting for an hour, they said they have an issue with one of their cables and the update is not happening and asked me to take the phone to the Rajajinagar center. However, the folks of Rajajinagar service center were not even able to detect the problem and gave back the phone saying that it is all working fine. Finally I took the phone to the Richmond circle Micromax care center on 27/08/2014 and explained them the whole issue and they took good one week time to get it sorted out. After a week, they said the faulty circuit board in the phone was replaced and the phone was repaired. But to my dismay, the phone still had the same issue when I checked the phone at home - post encryption the SIM is undetected. Not sure if they even replaced any part and any if any QA was done. Went back to them again the next day and explained them the problem and again, they sought a week's time. Later with to and fro calls with their technical team, they were finally made aware of the actual issue. After a week's time, they informed that the phone doesn't have encryption functionality and is the feature of the phone and is not an issue!! Strange to believe that as much lower versions of the phone have the same functionality and the latest version doesn't have the encryption functionality?? I asked them to provide the same in writing officially however it has been nearly a month and still haven't got a reply from them. The phone is lying in the service center for a month and every time, I call them up for an update, the only answer I get is that they are awaiting a reply from the Micromax Head office?? Even after a month, I am still waiting for my phone!!!An email from the head office in Mumbai takes more than 3 weeks to reach Bangalore!!Its been a disgusting experience with the service centers after an harrowing month without my phone and also not even a substitute phone offered by the company.
