Motorola — sim card not fitting in slot

Sir/madam I have bought a motorola turbo mobile phone on 29/05/15, on buying a nano sim i tried to put in the slot as directed by the company i found that the sim was not accepted, suggesting that the slim slot is defective. The same sim was working in other mobile phone without any problem. kindly advice what to do . only for 1 week the sim worked [previous also it was a nano sim with different number after which i changed the sim with new nano sim.]
