Msrtc — Clarification needed regarding reservation and boarding

Dear Sir/Madam I want to understand the procedure of reservation. Do i need to come early and be in the queue to get my reserved seat or is it responsibility of conductor to help me in getting seat. Let me know what if I missed to board the bus at reservation location and boarded the bus on next stop whether i should get reserved seat or not.
