Msrtc — Refund for not providing cotracted facility | |||
on 28.06.2014 I have lodged my following complaint on http://www.msrtc.gov.in/msrtc_live/grievance.html, However till date I have not received any reply of the same. Hope this forum will help me. Complaint - I had booked online ticket no[protected]user id prashantb242) for journey from Borivali to Shrivardan by Semi-luxury bus of 06.45 am of 28.06.2014 for my two family members. Thy reached at Nancy Colony Bus depot in the morning around 6.20 am and waited for the bus. After not seeing the bus for the long time, they made enquiry at the counter and they were informed that there is no such bus since long time and there must be some mistake in issuing the ticket online. After some time they informed that since there is no driver available for the bus has been cancelled and asked to travel in the another bus of Shrivardhan via Borli scheduled at 07.15 a.m. As per the schedule this bus should also be Semi Luxury but the bus provided was a Ordinary Bus. This situation raises some questions - 1- When we had reservation, Station Master must be having list of the reservation passengers, and he should have been made an announcement of the cancellation of the Bus and informed us before we approached them. 2- When they accommodated in another bus Borivali to Shrivardhan via Borli of 07.15 am. Why they changed bus from Semi Luxury to Ordinary (we had ticket of semi luxuty bus) 3- We have paid for Semi-Luxury and we were made to travel by Ordinary Bus and hence we are liable for the refund of the difference amount. 4- Also while booking the ticket online, we were selection the Lady seats which were shown available, but when the tickets were generated the General Seats were allotted. We mad three attempts but failed to get the Lady seats. We have to cancel the tickets (cancellation voucher nos 17632561, 17632572 and[protected] and cancellation charges were charged without our mistake.
