[Resolved] MTNL Mumbai — Unnecessarily Delay in Shifting Telephone

Date 15/7/14 Filed application for Telephone Shifting in GAVDEVI exchange I was promised will get same phone number
I shifted to Bhayandar on a rented premises MTNL lineman came but we were again shifting to our own place in Bhayandar only so we were assured that Connection will be done at new premises on filing application
I went MTNL exchange Bhayandar i was told that application can be filed only at GAVDEVI for our case
I went MTNL exchange Gavdevi filed another Application For shifting to new premises dated 14/8/14
Since then i have been visiting Exchanges numerous times but GAVDEVI exchange says we have Issued Workorder but BHAYANDAR exchange says we have not received any such order or we are looking for it
On top of that Lineman came on 18/8/14 and Charged Rs.200 assuring that phone and connection will be done either today or tommorow but it has not yet been done
I made 16 calls today they gave me different numbers right from lineman to divisional officer but all seems ignorant
