Mts — Charging additional bill | |||
I was using MTS data plan since April’13 and I have stopped using the connection due to poor performance of internet. So, I wanted to close the mts connection, I got a call from MTS collection center on 25th Jun’13 for paying a total outstanding of 1666 after that they promised me to close the connection over the phone and I don’t have pay anything after that since i was not using the connection, I maid the full payment on that day and stopped using the connection. Now after a month they told me to pay another 200 rs and i refused to pay that as per earlier call, now they are calling me every alternate 15 days for that amount and i am explaining the same call again and again but they are not stopping the call. Today, I got the call from another agent from MTS asking 1100 rs and i explain the same situation again and he cut the phone after that. I am sick and tired from those calls, I want consumer forum to take a stand on this matter and close out the gap ASAP. I follow-up with MTS CC and they said they didn't get any disconnection request on 25th Jun after my bill payment and connection was re-activated and bill was generated, which is not my fault and their operational issue, where their employee did not report the disconnection request after getting a payment. when I said them to hear the call of 25th Jun'13, they said they can't hear it because of it was done from other department. Now they have forwarded my case to legal and I am getting call from a lady Neha Sharma, that I need to come to tees hazari court for 1000 rs, otherwise they will send me to Jail for nothing. I am really mentally sick now with this MTS collection strategy and fighting for RS 1000 from a genuine customer who has not even used their connection a single MB(at least that they can check in their database), Now that number is assigned to someone else called Abhinav and has been removed from my name.
