Dear sir/madam, i am an engineering student who passed out in june 2016 from private institution in bangalore, i applied for passport in august 2016 from my home town(out side bangalore) only, so i mentioned my present and permanent address same. when police verification came, i gave statement that "i was studying in bangalore up to june 2016, now i am staying in home", now they agreed my statement that i am in permanent address now, but they are asking me police verification need to be done up to june 2016, for which passport office may ask u for penalty to be payed!! so please suggest me how much i should pay for this police verification.
