MCD — extreme water logging

I am a resident of Mehrauli, Ward No.7. The MCD officials in this area are reluctant to clean and despatch the garbage from the nullahs inspite of the fact that they know this leads to added filling up of water in our colony. Rain just more than a drizzle results in water filling to about 2-3 feet often but a little more rain and that increases the height to over 6 feet at times. A large no. of vehicle owners have lost their vehicles due to this filling of water. I through this complaint want the MCD officials of Mehrauli to become active in cleaning of nullahs as this area is the sole outflow source of water for almost the whole of main mehrauli area..If possible, the sewer line, which is already dug, but doesn't have the last outflow pipe, maybe installed so that the residents of mehrauli ward no.7 are given respite from this decrepit condition in the monsoons and premonsoon shower times..
Hi sir,

The MCD officials in this area are reluctant to clean and despatch the garbage from the nullahs inspite of the fact that they know this leads to added filling up of water in our colony. Rain just more than a drizzle results in water filling to about 2-3 feet often but a little more rain and that increases the height to over 6 feet at times. A large no. of vehicle owners have lost their vehicles due to this filling of water. I through this complaint want the MCD officials of SATBARI to become active in cleaning of nullahs as this area is the sole outflow source of water for almost the whole of main chattarpur, Mehrauli area.If possible, the sewer line, should be dug, but doesn't have the last outflow pipe, maybe installed so that the residents are given respite from this decrepit condition in the monsoons and premonsoon shower times.
Sr/Mdm,
I registered a complaint on 07/07/08 at the Local MCD Complaint Cell (hardly 100m away) in C-Block, Dilshad Garden, for the recurringly OVER-Flowing Manhole/Sewer in front of my building C-8, Dilshad Garden.
Even on 15/07/08 (today), the complaint stands redressal. I request the higher officials concerned to look into the matter & kindly let me know as to why we have to repeatedly book the same complaint every fortnightly? In 20 years of my stay at my current address not a single month could ever be observed with this over-flowing of the SAME MANHOLE / SEWER. The concerned Manhole is strategically located at the entrance/excess to the building stair-case. Everytime blockage occurs, we have to put bricks to gain exccess to the building.
The commissioner may kindly explain his stand point in view of the hardships being faced by the residents, as there are 10 Flats in this building.
Thnx & Regards,
Manzar Hussaini
Hi sir,
I am a resident of A-6 Block Paschim Vihar, New Delhi, In fact our Society Anandvan is located next to Govt School. We have intially visited to MCD office, in B -4 Block of Paschim Vihar (There are two to three offices ). The MCD officials( Jal Board and MCD official) are not able to decide who is take care of sewege problem. We sent the letter to MCD, office of Director Incharge in chief (DEMS) Dr Br Ambedkar Staduim Delhi Gate, Delhi. They replied us saying Over flow of choked sewer does not reatlted to Jal Board but MCD. The letter NO 43/EE/DE, S2008/22.12.08 Signed by Directror himself. Then we lodged the complaint on Phone which has been registered by them but no action has been taken so far. We are leaving in a society where we take care of even "Cleaning it collectively " You can visit our society and you surely appreciate it. However, we are worred about Sewege overflow due to which our Society s waste water remains in Society and unable to flow out of society. Not only that but there is Govt school besides us and there is fear small kid in the night by mistake could not see the hole, there may be Mischap.
We would request you to kindly take this matter seriously with the MCD staff and ask them clear the Blockage which is not only creating " Mosquitose in area but also threat to the small students who are in school studying in "Sarvodaya School" next to our Society.
" Take little pain to clean up area and contribute to make our Delhi a beautiful and healthy city".
With Kind regards

I reside at Peer Baba Road, Om Vihar 5, Uttam Nagar. I like to inform concern officers Lakhs of rupees has expanded on making of drain but not a single person (safaiwala) comes to clean the drain. The drains covered with garbage so water is flooding over road, there are noways cross the road without entering the dirty water. This can be caused of fight and disease in this area.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a resident of N Block Greater Kailash Part-1, New Delhi 110048.
My neighbour residing at N- 158, Greater Kailash Part-1, New Delhi 110048, is creating a menance for us as there drains are always overflowing, sometimes with dirty water used by maids to cleans their house. This is a cause of grave concern as this may be leading to the spraed to dreaded deseases like dengue, malaraia, etc. To my surpise all other neighbours feel the same but dont show the courage to report. The back lanes have been reduced to littering grounds, as the water is always overlodging there and the sounds of faliing water makes me believe that my neighbourhood happens to be the starting point from where an endless river flows.

Sir, I live in a decent colony and pay for taxes regularly. I will like the place to be clean from flifth and diseseases & last but not the least to the dirty smell in the surroundings.
Through this medium I like to raise my voice and hereby humby request to the concerned department to set the things right, so that a better civic sense pervails.
I certainly believe that water is life and all o[censored]s should use it with utmost care and delegency.

Thanking You in anticipation of a quick action.
We are facing with severe water logging in the open sewage. The stagnant water in the drains are there for more than a month and become a perfect ground for breeding Mosquitos.

We have been hearing that the probelm would be attended to shortly but there has been no relief.

Request your attention immediately.

Area : Pocket F, GTB Enclave, MIG Flats, Delhi-110093

Open Drain : Near the Flat No 96 Opposite Mehra Opticals.

Expecting a quick resoulution.
