I request DDA & MCD to verify all the properties at Ramphal Chowk. It's look like small unauthorized Harijan Basti (original name of place) is migrated to huge commercial hub. If you check the owner of properties you will find illegal captured properties details.
How come these properties moved from labour class people to money giants. Everyday new commercial buildings are being developed in streets. I understand Ramphal Chowk Main road is 100m wide can be used for commercial activities but not streets. On the name of mixed land use, the entire area is getting commercialized.
Why not DDA & MCD taken action so far ?

Dwarka is planned city and any commercial use within Dwarka should be planned. I see no reference or provisioned in any of Documents. Running small shops and use ground floor only in mixed land is good, it should be, but not whole building specially designed for Commercial and Industrial Use ?
I saw Vishal Mega Mall was broken 3 times by MCD, situated in Main Road but thereafter allowed by MCD. What is this ? If government has passed gazetted to allow shopping center in 100m wide road you shouldn't have broken it 3 times, but if you did that means something was definitely wrong.
All residentials at Ramphal Chowk are facing everyday traffic issue, they can't reach their home safely. Childrens can't play because streets meant for Residence are now commercial highly packed.
I request new government to look into this matter seriously and please remove commercial buildings (entire building made for commercial in residence area) near schools and residence area. Was this information helpful? |
