Sir, I am a Doctorate student with IIT Roorkee obtaining scholarship from MHRD, GOI. Last month we were requested to get our bank account linked with aadhar no., the same was done last month itself. However one sms was recieved today stating "your account number XXXXXX linked with your aadhar number XXXX has been rejected by NPCI". You are kindly requested to explain the reason for the same.
