[Resolved]  NISA Security Services — Complaint against the security guard Mr.Sanjay Atam and his supervisor Mr. Ravi Gagad

Address:Mumbai City, Maharashtra

Today, me and my fiance visited a restaurant Upper Crest in Powai (Supreme Business Park). There after dinner, we were clicking pics inside the premises where the security guard Sanjay Atam came running and shouting at us saying not to click pics to which we listened to him and came out of the building. When we just started taking pics outside the building, he with his same attitude started shouting at us and speaking to us in a disrespecful manner. Aggreived by his behaviour, we went to his supervisor Ravi Gagad to complain but he too showed the same attitude and behaviour and did not even listen to us but instead shouting at us to read the terms and conditions before entering a building. Our concern was not that he prohibited us from taking pics but the way in which he behaved with us as though we committed a crime. Request you to please take necessary action against such people.

Seems it
sometime is a menace in Mumbai and I am looking up at this forum
now just to look what others are facing because I faced this situation in Ghatkopar today when I parked my car on road in front of closed shops (behind
having residential complex) just for 10-15 minutes but faced hard time
from 2 guards accompanied by one owner boy ( chewing pan and may be a
Driver infact) of a car which was
parked in between footpath and shops. I was horrified to see the
rude behaviour of guards and faced all this for a long (5 minutes) high
pitch quarrel on road along with my wife. It was shameful moment for one and
all. I am sure these guards were acting more rudely just to favour their
masters. Today being sunday-less crowdy day and after
seeing myself before parking my vehicle for well 4-5 minutes when no guard
came and objected to me then only I parked my vehicle for little time.
How to deal this and I am only analyzing on what went wrong. I am looking at
all the angles and questions like :

1. Whether it was
prudent for guards to come to me along with Driver/owner to quarrel bitterly,

2. Whether the
guards are in fact doing duty of residential complex/society whose gate was
adjacent to shops and only extending services to the owner of the car who might
himself had parked vehicle unauthisedly for whole day on sunday.I checked vehivle parked at same place after one hour
and then after 3 hours (10 PM in the night.

3. When I finally
objected to big quarrel time and even after saying sorry many times asked to
give a call to society members to talk to then guards got furiated, Why so not understood.

4. There was no
gate in front of this building shops and a way from the footpath was mae to take up the vehicles whereas they were fighting on this point that
you had parked in front of the gate.

5. It finally
gave some relief when I tried to ring few numbers on my mobile and I saw all of
them moving behind inside the residential complex from its main gate.

6. When I said
enough is enough and please leave it for god's sake and made them understand
that I am also a responsible person and even a govt official they added that
many people like you come here daily and whatever you want to do whether
calling press or any reporter you are free.

7. Whether guards
are dutybound to see for all such wrong parkings on the roads and that too on sundays when the traffic
is lean and even traffic cops are otherwise helpful.

8. We could note
one thing for sure the name of the security service provider which may help us
understand further the modus operandi of such private operators.I am looking
forward only with caution to open up further.

I am not able to
understand for the time being and I think the loopholes should be blocked and
it is always better to remove such errant guards. It is more safe if they call
the traffic cops in case of such parking violations ( that too if at all) and
avoid fighting with the general populace. A shameful event for people like us
who otherwise would pay happily for penalty if found guilty and avoid such
public show of road rage at the hands of the security guards/societies.
