Nokia Care — Unethical behaviour and failed extended warranty

Bhavin patel. i had bought my lumia 720 in feb 2013. After 8 months o[censored]sage i decided to go for the extended warranty which cost me Rs 500. After repeatedly checking my warranty status it didn't display any information on warranty extension. I had filed for the extended warranty at AKSHAY CARE(NOKIA CARE), PUNE. Later after few months i came to know there was some server failure and our application for warranty failed. We had no option but to accept the refunded amount. The nokia care manager assured us that he will provide free service for the coming year if any problem arises. Even if you are in any other city i would manage your servicing. Such were his words. And as expected after one yr 4 months o[censored]sage there was a problem with the mike and the charging port. I immediately rushed to the service centre. Little did i know i would be charged for the same. They charged me rs 750 for the mike replacement. They never mentioned the actual cost of the part nor the service charge. Such improper bills are provided which only have one figure written on it. Again in half n hour o[censored]se the mike went off. I rushed back to the service centre and they replaced it again. Again after a month o[censored]sage again the mike went off and also the charging point. The nokia care engineer open it up and after proper fitting it again started working. I knew it was a temporary thing since there was no replacement. After three months o[censored]sage i am stuck with the same problem. And this time the nokia care manager almost threw me out of the store. He asked his employee to find out rates for the mike part. They came up will number rs 550. On hearing this the manager says these are old rates, check the new ones. He came back with a bill which showed a price of rs.615 .Again this manager who had no intention of helping me type a random number on this calculator and showed me that the new rates are rs 957. If you agree then go ahead or else you may leave. Such was the treatment. They fail my rs.500 extended warranty, then they make false promises and then they treat customer like hell.
