[Resolved]  Nokia — NOkia Lumia 720 not rectified since 4 february.

Hello I was trying to update the new update “black” on my Lumia 720, but the spinning cogs kept on spinning and after 4-5 hours my battery died. I tried to recharge but to no avail. I went to nokia care center at Dexter, F-19, Plot No-12, 1st Floor, Above Kotak Mahindra Bank, Near Deepali Chowk, Rohini Sector-8, Delhi – 110085.I submitted my phone on 4 february with an assurance that it’s a software problem and it would be rectified within 48 hours. 6 february - I visited the nokia care center because there was no communication from their side.When I enquired they told me that their engineers were not able to rectify the phone so it must be shipped to a higher center. They gave me a time frame of 5-7 working days and I gave my consent. The attitude of the people working there was non-professional and highly flagrant. I called them after 10 days to enquire because there was no communication from their side and I was surprised when they started cooking theories like your phone is at bangalore and it will take some more days .I am again mentioning that it was their responsibility to convey to the customer that is the status but here it was my duty to call them after some days to enquire and they keep the call on hold all the time and after a delay tell me that it will take more time. After 3-4 calls I demanded that I want to talk to the manager over there and I was given a number which I promptly dialed. The guy claimed that he is the manager of the center (Chander Prakash) and he promised that I will get my phone in 5 working days. 25 february - After 6 days and with no communication I again called and Mr. Chander prakash told me that your phone is ready. I went to the center after 2 hours and was surprised when the associate at the front table ( Sandhya Sharma) again told me that your phone is still at higher center. I crossed check it with Mr Chander prakash, and Felt relieved when he told me that it had arrived yesterday .I checked the phone which they wanted to give me in exchange of my phone and it was an old scratched handset. I immediately declined and asked them what is the whole issue. The tried to force that handset on my in most abominable way.I requested them that I would like to meet some one with authority at the center and I was introduced to a lady after 20 minutes.She( AMAN, Center Manager ) was unprofessional and rude and unwilling to help in any way. She told me that she will send my phone back for replacement but she didn’t give any time frame. Other customers I met there also told me that this is one of the worst managed center at Nokia. The associates working there lie to customer and forward the calls to their other associates and they then pretend to be the manager and thus they buy more time. I was lied to and Harassed all this time, Still I decided to wait and thought there might be some genuine problem. After 15 days I again got a phone call from the same girl I assume and she told me that it will take 10 more days. This is the height o[censored]nprofessionalism. I Tried to lodge a complaint at Nokia Phone number 30303838.The first time I called the executive after talking to me or 10 minute and asking all kind of questions told me to call again after some hours as the computers are not working. I called again after a day or two and repeated my concern again and requested them to expedite the process. The guy listened attentively and promised me that I would get a return call in 72 hours from their team. Complained Number -- 1-[protected] I got a call from their team on 16 March and there was no progress. The lady said she will look into the matter. She also claimed that the issue will be assigned to a higher team.( sic!!!...God knows what higher team ). Since 4 february I am waiting for Nokia Lumia 720.The staff at nokia care just lie and buys time. They ate almost 2 month of my validity as well. I am mentioning all the details: Job sheet number[protected]/140204/13 Model – Nokia Lumia 720 IMEI - [protected] My contact number - [protected] Location - Delhi Care center location - DEXTER, F-19, Plot No-12, 1st Floor, Above Kotak Mahindra Bank, Near Deepali Chowk, Rohini Sector-8, Delhi – 110085 The device is still with them and I really don’t know the exact details of it. I have no idea of complaint link. I hope someone somewhere will help me.The date mentioned here or the timings may be slightly incorrect as I mentioned most of them with what i remember.
