Ola Cabs — Harrasment with lady, too much extra fare charged

Hi, I would like to complaint you regarding the inconvenience, misbehave and harassment caused by OLA cab for the cab hired from the Bangalore International Airport(KIA) to Hosur road. Me and my husband had booked the cab from airport to Hosur Road and while boarding the cab, we believe that hiring the non AC mini cab will cost us 10 Rs/Km or total expense would be lesser than Rs.1000 as per standard for the other cab services. But when reached the destinations we got shocked when the driver claim Rs. 2480. for the diesel Tata Indica non AC car i.e almost 77.5 Rs/Km. When i tried to explain the driver that this is not a genuine trade, he started shouting outside my apartment and threatened me that he will create a scene at 3:15 AM early morning on 22nd June and he will take me n my husband to police station if I will not give him money.Analyzing the situation as I was standing outside the apartment and being a lady I told him not to create a scene our here and let me talk with OLA customer care and they were disconnecting my call. As when I hire the OLA cab on 12th June 2015 from same my residential location to Bangalore International Airport, had paid only Rs. 1002, then how can I agree with the charges that you are demanding. and the eason driver gave me is peak hours.Peak hours means rain, traffic jam n shortage of cab but we got cab within 2 minutes after booking the cab so simply they cant fool us by telling peak hours. But calling more than 3 times to OLA customer care and explaining my situation to customer care executive, I was told to transferred the call to Sr. Executive and my call was put on hold more than 10 minutes and was disconnected by the customer care executive. Nobody tried to call me back afterwards from OLA customer care side. I was harassed in the midnight on the road, and then I told cab driver to take me to police station and let them decide who is correct in this case as I have all the proofs and i took video of the cab driver accepting that OLA is not loyal with the customer and you should take this matter to higher level and am not the first victim of that, he was influenced by the Senior person from OLA to threaten the customer for calling police. We were roaming on roads at 4 am searching for ATM as driver was harassing us and he didn't analyze that I am a lady and its highly unsafe as whatever he is demanding is totally unfair. My question to OLA is, Do you have any government approved documents which specify the private cabs can charge any unfair amount from the customer at any timings .Let me tell you that Airport taxi SEDAN which was a bigger cab than OLA was charging us[protected] which is 50% lesser than you charged. The reason which we d booked it to save money and we trusted OLA cabs . But what incident happened to me is highly unacceptable and if OLA want me not to take any further action as we have all the proofs and your driver recordings in which driver is harassing and telling its unfair amount, you need to refund my money ASAP. ould you please look into above issue as your customer adviser is not resolving the issue. Need my refund ASAP as Rs 2500 from Airport till Hosa Road is too much and it not right. We trust OLA and want this to be refunded as if you would be in my place, you would also demanded justice . I have read your story and actually I came to the site after having heard from many people about this Fraud OLA cabs.

As per your story. You made one mistake. You should have immediately called the POLICE and they should have given good treat to that fellows from OLA. After giving money it is just waste of time.

NOW at least you can lodge a complaint with police and also send the information to government departments both in your state as well as Delhi.

Already there is serious cases going ON with this kind of Cabs. And this should be banned immediately.

At least from many people I came to know UBER is charging less and also do not have much such issue.

My relatives have same issue and also I have communicated with them on [protected]@olacabs.com
But, this fellows giving non sense answers. And saying sorry and we take this as feedback.

After which I got irate and ask them I will file a case. I want money along with compensation but, now they are just making their system to bounce my email back.

MY Suggestion to you is, DO NOT take this lite and try everything to report to concern government department. Also you will get phone number and complete details of the driver as well. File a case with police as well.

If police do not respond properly then you can directly report to Human Ministry as well.

OUR system is worst. That departments take action only if something goes wrong on big basis.
