[Resolved] Oriental Insurance Company — Severe delay in claim settlement | |||
Reference to the subject cited above this is to inform that my four wheeler (Hyundai I10 Sports saloon car) has been insured (policy no. 321202/31/2014/6534) by your company. The same vehicle met with an accident and after completing all the formalities, the bill along with other credentials have been submitted for claim on time in the month of September. It is being over a month but the said claim has not yet been registered. On enquiring it has been reported by the issuing branch that, registration has not yet been done as there was a delay in sending the file from Guwahati Service branch to Tezpur Branch. I feel sorry to tell that such poor service has tarnished the brand name of the company in my minds and forced me to suspect negative intentions of officials concerned and involved in processing the file. I therefore request the competent authority to kindly look into the matter and take necessary steps in order to disburse the claim amount without further delay. I would be ever grateful if the claim amount be disbursed immediately as the expense have already been born by me.
