I went to passport regional office today for my 1 year old baby. But the guard sitting there didn't let me in because I didn't have the print out of the appointment letter. Even if the appointment message was already there, still they wanted to have the appointment printout.
I mean why no body is keeping a check why is going on in the system. Why there are rules to harass the public.

But till now it is stuck at nsh post office jalandhar. We are contacting to head post office but they are not providing any information about this consignment. Please verify where is passport. I got a letter from regional passport office Jalandhar dated 16 may yesterday i.e 6th June in which I was asked to see PIA with original documents within 7 working days otherwise my file will be closed.
Since I received the letter so late and now my file of renewal of passport has been closed.
Kindly help me as I needed the passport urgently to apply for visa.
