Paytm — Fake product received | |||
I ordered 2 Xiaomi power banks which were delivered today and upon inspecton, turned out to be fake. Following 2 sites were used to verify if the product was genuine : Official Xiaomi Forum : en.miui.com/thread[protected].html https://www.techmesto.com/identify-fake-xiaomi-power-bank/ The product did not match the specifications of original genuine product. One example, original powerbanks dont have mi logo printed on usb cable, both had the logo printed. Also both dont support pass through charging, genuine one does. Immediate action should be taken as the seller Relimo (who is selling these products on paytm website) has already sold 700+ such product which I can firmly assume to be fake (because the price is too good to be true, and I received 2 fake products). Just to add on to it, the casing of the powerbank arrived was broken and the outer cover clearly indicates just a fake printout. Plus the link mentions product to be silver, but the one I received is red. Well these things dont matter since the product itself is fake, but just for the record. 1. Skull candy logo was missing on ear buds
2. The visible difference in design as shared on Twitter
3. Even left and right ear buds mark was absent.
4. Overall product was shabby.
Complaint:
1. They never confirmed product was fake. Directly initiated a return request.
2. They did not replace it with original product.
3. Product was for 299 with 45 cash back. They returned 264. But the 45 bucks cash back is not reversible. I'm forced to use their portal to use their service.
4. I did not buy these headphones from Flipkart during their sale (was available for 600 as against 1000 regular price). This is also a loss for me.
I've lost total faith in paytm.
