You were requested to take steps to complete the formalities of surrendering the locker with effect from August, 2015. We have not received any communication from your end and therefore we shall not be responsible for payment of any more rent on this account. On perusal of Bank statement for the month of June 2015, we observed that an amount of Rs.3000.00 has been again debited to our account. In connection of locker No.639 in your Branch in the name of M/s. General Engineering Works, Industrial Area, Bharatpur. Please note that name of the company has changed by Board Resolution dated 30.03.2010(Copy enclosed). The locker No.639 is not in use since last more than 20 years and we do not require the same any more. You are therefore requested to take steps to complete the formalities of surrendering the aforementioned locker with immediate effect. Further to above, please also note that keys of the said locker are also not available with us therefore while deciding the matter this fact to be taken in account and arrange to do the needful, under intimation to us. In this connection, as advised by you we have enquired from PNB, LM Chowk branch and come to know that this amount is for a Locker hired by“General Engineering Works”. As General Engg. Works was a separate unit and our present account is with your branch is as- “ Hindusthan Engineering & Industries Ltd., Engg.Unit-Bharatpur plant “ hence debiting amount of a separate unit to our a/c is not proper and we would unable to explain this to Tax Authorities. We therefore request you to reverse the entry and credit Rs.6000.00 to our account under intimation to us. Meanwhile we are also discussing the matter with LM Chowk Branch to take suitable steps in the matter to resolve the issue.
