Prasanth — Want to surrender my Lic policy

I've taken lic policy in the year 2006. I paid my premium regularly and suddenly i came to know that my policy premium was kept unpaid by my agent to whom the money was given to pay. In the year 2012 i opted a loan from LIC and i got it. However am not in a position to pay the premium so i want to surrender my policy and want my amount back. Please help
