Prestige Smart Kitchen — Deficiency in service | |||
My prestige induction cook top caught fire on 18.02.2015 and immediately a complain ( complaint no .HARY900403R) was lodged for this unusual accident. I requested to prestige to investigate the cause and compensate for the loss o[censored]nit and trauma and anxiety caused to my family for the fear of fire spreading to my house. The technician visited my house and expressed shock at such an incident and assured that he has recommended replacement of the unit and for other issue i may take up with the service centre. After this is did not heard any thing from prestige and their customer care centre was not having any updated information and referred me back to service centre. On constant efforts, i was able to reach service centre on 02.03.2015 and service centre plainly refused the replacement and intimated i have to bear the cost of repair etc. I was shocked how a reputed company can ignore such a major issue with their product and not address the issues and concerns of customer. It is requested to take up with prestige and suitable compensation be provided for shock and trauma my family has undergone. this is without prejudice of any legal course at my disposal.
