[Resolved]  Provizor Consultancy. — Violation of employment scheme

Hi, I hv recently attended the interview for Convergys via Provizor consultancy, koramangala, bangalore. I was called by Miraj, 1 of the consultancy representatives. The job post was about technical support using sql, quick books etc. There were 4 rounds of interview- 1) HR 2) V & A 3) TECHNICAL WRITTEN AND 4) OPS ROUND. I Cleared all 3 n in the 4th round der was a video conferencing where Mr.Ravi, The assistant manager at convergys was taking the interview. It started on a good note but yes he was asking some networking as well as troubleshooting questions whereas i was told by the person who took the HR round that they just need some basic sql knowledge which was the same as told to me by the consultancy people but even though with a struggle i managed to answer all if not wid 100% accuracy but yes with min knowledge i had. Then when i was waiting for the result i was told they have put me on hold saying im not bad i was good confident but i nid to make an effort on my technical and therefore he gives me a second chance where the so called senior manager Mr. Harish was suppose to give me a second call. Though disappointed i somehow convinced myself thinking ok atleast they have not rejected me. yea it was saturday then. i came back to my pg started preparing all from sql to networking to troubleshooting then finally when monday came n i gave a cal to this consultancy people...i dunno they behaved in a strange manner, there was no proper response from their side...i tried contacting miraj but even he was not answering my cals then i searched for the other no.s of their representatives on net n finally managed a few but each of them behaved weird. And then finally all of a sudden i got a cal from miraj n i asked him whats the status when il get a second cal from the senior manager as i was told it wl b scheduled around 4:30 in the evening then what he says was shocking. he replied saying no dear u were rejected that very day itself dats on saturday but since you will feel bad they dn tell u that straight on your face. i was greatly taken aback. i told them clearly why the company HR who was taking the interview that day would do dat if its a rejection or an acceptance its their job they wont make up false stories n give false hopes to candidates rather they would say a straight reject directly on your face. And i even told that i had a word with Ms. Mallika who was their on the consultancy premises for taking technical written even she informed that yes your 2nd call will be from senior manager where he will take the final decision about your selection. After all this discusssion with Miraj nothing seemed to be proper n he instead of helping me started shouting at me i got greatly annoyed and i went to the consultancy premises where again 1 surprise was waiting for me. There it was a different story none of the consultancy representatives was behaving properly with me no proper interaction. Then finally i was told by one that yes they will take the interview around 5:30. i was again surprised but felt in a way better that atleast they agreed to take interview, 5:30 when the interview started and Mr. Harish senior manager, Convergys was on call he was not at all patient he was not allowing me to speak only before i could speak he stopped me saying something or the other. i got highly annoyed. Started pin pointing at my pronunciation and my technical skills. Seemed they had already made up their mind to reject me. Questions he was asking were also about pl sql which is far away from the basic sql which they were demanding as per the job profile requirement .There was avast difference between what was asked by Ravi, assistant mgr, Convergys and Harish, Sr. Manager, Convergys. but obvious i lost the battle. I felt bad about everything and i definitely understand that this consultancy people and Convergys have some agreement in between which lead to my rejection after all positive efforts made from my side. And i have a definite proof for that as well as while i was attending the inteview on saturday they rejected one girl but then the consultancy people pleaded and the assistant manager agreed to take her. So, guys u only tell how is it possible to accept a rejected candidate after the request from consultancy people and at the same time rejecting me after putting me on hold. Im Upset about whatever has happened so far and therfore posting this as an feedback because i dont want any of the other deserving candidates to suffer like this between an agreement of such a poor consultancy and a cheap company like Convergys who takes pleasure in playing around with persons emotions and time.
