Pune Municipal Corporation — Nuisance due to Stray Dogs

Repected Sir,

I am a resident of Bhelke Nagar Kothrud. Since past few weeks the problem of stray dogs has increased significantly. During the day and night there are many stray dogs that come in our area. There are already some owners who have pet dogs. This results in a barking match and ugly fights between the pets and the stray dogs as well as among the stray dogs.

1-Night sleep is disturbed. Awakened by loud barking and fights
2- Even during the day there is a general disturbance due to frequent barking/fights
3-Dogs follow and run after pedestrians as well those on vehicles
4-Some stray dogs are either sick or injured and can be dangerous to the nearby residents and visitors
