I booked a flat with a builder in 2009 and did not paid the installments demanded by them, I received a letter dated 3rd may 2012 on 5th may 2012 as final notice giving me a time of 15 days to make the entire payment or else your flat will be cancelled by the company and the amount paid till date will be forfeited, I went to the company office in Gurgaon on 18th may 2012 at 11.30 Am, to make the entire payment. I was kept waited till 8.30 Pm giving me reasons that your case is being discussed so please wait, I Had no other option other than to wait. But at 8.30 Pm a senior executive cam and told we cannot except the payment as it is too late and we were sent back and till date I am running every day to the builder office to submit my payments but on 30th May 2012 the company verbally said that your unit is cancelled and reason given to me was that you didn’t came on time to deposit the dues and also you amount given is forfeited Can a builder do like this. I can simply say that they are white collar thieves and I know that a company has a legal team which will fight a civil case for them. I also want to know can I file a criminal case of cheating
