Quikr.com — Refund still pending from Quikr for the past one month | |
I posted a premium Ad, Ad ID:[protected] on[protected] [Premium Ad pack (Pack Id:79874)]. I paid Rs.3871 for this premium pack which includes service for 3 months/10 Ads. Quikr website did not give an option to chose a package which includes one Ad per month.
Right from 4th of March2015, i've been trying to contact quikr customer care support to convert my package to 1 Ad/month and get a refund of the remaining amount.
customer number kept disconnecing. So I sent an email on[protected] as attached. No response to that email till date. I raised 2 support tickets via quikr.com, Support Tickets[#138594, 290842], no response till date.
So I called the customer care number again on 7th March, and the representative said someone from the Premium package department will call me. No calls till date.
I called again today[protected] and the representative said she'll arrange for a call back in one hour. I did not get a call in one hour's time. I called back again and another representative said I need to call the escalation dept and he gave me another number. I called that number and told the representative that i'm calling to get my money refunded, immediately she said she'll arrange for a call back from an account manager. I was stubborn to talk to a manager and finally a team lead came on call, saying refund is not possible and he said premium package is non-refundable.
It is not even a week's time that i'm asking for a refund but quikr.com says they cannot refund. This is cheating. I'm sure many people are being cheated like this. All i want is charge me for one month/pre ad and refund the remaining amount. I'm not sure why is it so complicated.
Their customer service executives are trained well to make the customers run in circles if they talk about refund. This is highly frustrating.
This is not a small amount. I lost Rs.3871. Quikr is sucking innocent people's money and growing its business. I lost my money, i didnt get good customer service, my Ad is tagged as "Urgent", but I paid for "Premium". Altogether i lost everything. Please someone look into this complaint immediately. This is really serious.
I got a call from quikr on 10th March saying my money will be refunded and they would send a cheque of Rs.3481, I gave my name and address as requested. I first don't understand why should I go through this old cheque model. why not online money transfer? I don't understand why the hell quikr keeps complicating things and make people go mad who requests for refund. All other vendors do online money transfer for refunds. This is just one other eye wash that quikr does to escape from refunds.
After a long struggle I got representative from quikr to send me an email with the details she collected from me to process the cheque. All those details were wrong. She said details will be corrected and I would get, my cheque on 25th Mar2015 but i haven't got my cheque nor tracking number for the courier that was sent. So this is still going on and no one wants to take any action on quikr. But i will not leave this as such. I'm taking this to cybercrime department Was this information helpful? | |
