Rak Ceramics — Sub: Replacement of defective RAK wash basins/closet tanks

Sir, Ref: 1) invoice no. 6482 dated 19-8-13 for rak w. B regular 20"white -3 nos From tara sanitary wares, trivandrum 2) delivery note no. Dated july 2015 replacing 2 washbasins and 2 closet Tanks 3) delivery note no. 87 dated[protected] replacing 1 washbasin 4) invoice no. 7545 dated 10-10-15 for accessories to fit 3 new rak w. B Regular 20" white from tara sanitary wares, trivandrum for Rs 2600/- With reference to the above, two numbers of the washbasins closet tanks each have cracked initially after 9 months of installation. The cracks progressively increased and part of the washbasins broke apart and fell on the floor (Image-1a, 1b).in the case of second and third washbasins, the cracks are seen in images -2, 3a & 3b. For images of the two closet tanks, refer images, 4a, 4b & 5. Replacements were provided by tara sanitary wares after much persuasion and effort on my part. I have spent money from my pocket for replacing washbasins (Ref 4) and for plumber rs1800/- on 11-10-15.in the case of third washbasin (Ref. 3), it was not possible to fit waste coupling to the washbasin as there is wide gap in 180 degree sector of the opening indicating manufacturing defect. I am appalled by such low quality of rak make sanitarywares. I have spent money thinking that buying quality products will ensure hassle free daily use. But, it turned out to be completely wrong in the case of rak sanitary. I have never come across such useless sanitary wares in my lifetime. Five numbers have cracked, a sixth one is cracking as explained below. A fourth washbasin fitted in dining room is also having many minor cracks. I donot have the time, money and inclination to visit your shop to beg for replacements after having paid high amounts for purchasing these products. You are requested to visit my house, note the size and arrange a good plumber and replace the third & fourth washbasins in my house including replacement cost of new waste coupling, hose etc at the earliest[protected] at 10 am preferrably). Also, i want reimbursement for an amount of rs 4400/- which i have incurred till date. This does not include my effort and time wasted. Hope nothing else supplied by rak cracks.
