[Resolved]  Redbus — Refund issued upon bus cancellation

Hi,
This is regarding a bus ticket cancellation for which the money has not been refunded yet even after a month. Multiple calls were made from my side to the both online bus ticketing partner redbus and the travels company orange travels. Both have failed to provide proper solution.

On 19th of september i have booked 4 tickets in orange travels via online ticketing portal redbus.in. Booked for thiruvananthapuram to bangalore and the date of travel was 24th of september. On the date of travel (24th sep) i got a message from orange travels stating that the bus has been cancelled due to some reason. I got a call as well stating the same. When i asked about the refund, they said redbus will take care of it and i within a week money would be refunded. I have been calling both redbus and orange travels from the day (From the day that they said the money would be refunded) and there were no proper answers. They are just blaming one to another (Redbus blaming orange travels and vice versa).

After so many calls were made i have decided to make a final call on last thursday (Oct 13). I got really angry to the customer care representative when they said another lame excuse and i said i want to escalate this issue to the higher level. After around 20 mins of hold, finally they said the refund has been approved and it would take another one week for the refund. I waited one more week. I again called them yesterday (20 oct 2016) since there were no updates. They said the refund has been initiated and i will get a mail regarding the same. I am still waiting for there update. After so many efforts i am getting hopeless from their lame responses. Please take this complaint to them do the needfull.

I have posted the complaint in Redbus facebook page. I have listed all the efforts that I have made to get the refund along with ticket details. I have even put comments on their promotion posts. After posting the issue they have commented that they will look into the issue. After 30 mins I got a message from Redbus that the refund has been processed. I have even received message from bank as well that Redbus has reversed the payment. It might take another 7 days process the refund completely
Red Bus customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
